In France, every year at midnight on the third Thursday of November the first bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau are opened, and celebrants begin drinking this young wine which is produced in the Burgundy region. St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church will participate in this annual tradition by inviting the public to taste the first wine of the year and enjoy an assortment of French cheeses while enjoying live accordion music in its Mediterranean-Revival courtyard. The event will include an exhibit and sale of visual art by Palm Beach County artists and music performed by café-style accordion artist Frank Cerabino, specializing in French, Italian, Latin and American repertoire. Total Wine, a popular area wine merchant, is selecting the wines. All proceeds will benefit St. Andrew’s outreach programs: community feeding program, services to the homeless, justice ministry, LGBT ministry.
