Saint & Sinner – A Music Theatre Piece at St. Andrews Episcopal Church

A chamber music theatre piece to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. The performance highlights the lives of two courageous Latinos: Archbishop Oscar Romero who spoke out about injustice and violence against the poor and defenseless of El Salvador and Joaquin Murrieta, the 19th century bandit on whom the Zorro legend was based. Music for cello, piano and percussion featuring Latin American composers and folk and popular music from Latin America. Reception to follow the program.
