New arts website is designed to promote downtown Lake Worth exhibits

— Finding visual and performing arts, food, lodging and shopping destinations in Lake Worth became easier Monday when the city's Community Redevelopment Agency launched its arts website - www.lakewortharts.com.

The site was created as part of LULA Lake Worth Arts, a strategic plan launched by the CRA to promote economic development through the arts.

The website is expected to increase awareness about art-related events and places in the city, both for residents and visitors.

LULA arts promotion project to foster exhibit, living spaces

Tracy Smith Coffey hopes to put Lake Worth on the map as a destination for artists and people who enjoy art in its many forms - from paintings, poetry and stained glass to live music and theatrical performances.

Coffey, former president of the South Dixie Antique Row Association in West Palm Beach, is the planner for the Lake Worth Community Redevelopment Agency's arts promotion program called LULA Lake Worth Arts.
