Exhibition: March 11 – April 23, 2022
Born in the Northern U.S. and raised in the South, creates art that draws from her personal narratives and life experiences. This exhibition will focus on concepts of identity and narratives of our collective human existence—both real and imagined. Depending on the circumstances, identity is situational and as such, our stories continuously change and remain in flux. Lemeh relies on oral stories, written text, and visual symbols to help reveal fragments of our (un)seen stories and explore various concepts of identity.
