Abstract expressionist painter Alyssa di Edwardo synthesizes landscape into highly gestural compositions of strength and vulnerability. Her masterful use of color and intuitive palette have earned comparison to Joan Mitchell, Willem de Kooning and Cecily Brown. Her work has been extensively exhibited and collected both domestically and abroad. di Edwardo currently works from her studio in West Palm Beach and is represented exclusively in London. This solo exhibition showcases di Edwardo as the first recipient of the Dina Baker Fund for Mature Artists, which helps stabilize and strengthen the careers of female artists of a certain age who reside and/or work in Palm Beach County.
