Opening Reception: "Exposure" at Artisans on the Avenue

Friday, September 18, 2015, 06:00pm - 09:00pm

A photographic journey featuring artists E.J. Morales, Susan Oakes, and Lorayne Vitrone.

The camera lens exposures truth for all to see, it hides nothing from the naked eye. Our photographers capture images that will take you on a journey around the world with their unique talents and precision. As they choose their subjects to photograph they have a vision of what the finalized photo will show.

Our very talented artists then get creative in processing their art so that each photograph is a one of a kind unique treasure. All photographers have a favorite way of presenting these images.

Old school photography using the basic black and white print film is still in vogue today. Many of the new techniques include color tinting, different backgrounds, or photoshop. The various applications alter and enhance the images bringing to life the photographs we enjoy.

Their finished photo will be applied on canvas, metal, glass, wood or other complementing pallets.

The various materials and techniques used by artists create a personalized style that they become famous for. Memories captured on film are timeless and stay in our hearts forever.

Our art exhibits are always free and are full of wonderful refreshments!
