Our premiere big band, consisting of students and community professionals, performs with jazz trumpeter/vocalist Byron Stripling.
Called a “later Louis Armstrong” by the LA Times, Bryon is the artistic director of the Columbus Jazz Orchestra, leader of his own quartet, and constantly in demand with pops orchestra around the world.
He has performed and recorded with Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, Lena Horne, Sonny Rollins, the Count Basie Orchestra, the Carnegie Hall Jazz Band, and on numerous Broadway cast albums.
Join us as Mr. Stripling combines with our Tues Nite Big Band, under the direction of David Gibble, for an very special evening that you will not forget.
